Primarily, for ecclesiastical/liturgical weaving, Sandra uses a modified Theo Moorman technique. It allows great flexibility in her design work. The Theo Moorman technique employs a secondary warp (the lengthwise threads), which holds the pattern weft (the crosswise threads) on the surface of a background weave. Paraments woven using this technique are elegant and can be subtle or wonderfully vibrant, depending on the particular needs of the customer.
